85-Year-Old Woman Killed by a Train, Body Dragged Up to 500 Meters
May 18, 2023, Indonesia- Innalillahi, a grandmother of a resident of Grobogan Regency died after being hit by a train. Before the incident, the machinist of the Ambarawa Express Train had actually blew his horn several times. However, there may be problems with her hearing so that the grandmother ignores the sound of the train horn. At that time, the grandmother named N. was walking in the middle of the rail after farming. Based on the witness's statement, the body of the old farmer from Jatiharjo Village, Pulokulon District, Grobogan Regency was dragged by the train as far as 500 meters. "The victim is still attached to the front train, because the machinist knew about the incident then tried to stop and go down to evacuate the victim assisted by residents," said AKP Saptono. According to AKP Saptono, the victim's body was then evacuated by residents away to the edge of the train crossing tracks. "According to family information, the victim has been senile and often leaves the house without saying goodbye," concluded AKP Saptono.  · |
