83yo Man Killed In His Own Bar
Around 3am on Thursday 31 July, the police recorded another murder in the district of Alto Bonito, in rural Bonito, Brazil. The victim, 83yo retired merchant. According to information from the victim's wife, he had a bar and used to open the establishment and returned home around 2am in the morning. When he had not returned by 3am, she went to the bar and found the victim lay on the ground with a stab wound to the chest. He died later in hospital. Motive not disclosed but perhaps a robbery.  ·  · |

It's pretty pathetic, but poverty and drug addiction and so on can drive people to pretty desperate measures.
