71yo Man Wearing Prison Ankle Tag Shot Dead
Dates back from 28th September. An inmate of 71 years of age was killed in by firearm injuries to the head, the motive for the crime has not yet been established at time this went to press. Only information was that the elderly man already had been threatened with [OR] committed murder in the nearby town of Souls Creek Calf. I can't make out exactly which. He suffered health problems and was tracked by the prison strap. Note the portable urinary catheter bag. No further details on arrests, etc.  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |

Are they sure that this guy wasn't a child molester/sex offender? That ankle monitor sure looks like the one used to monitor sex offenders in California. Of course they monitor gangsters, INS cases pending trial, very serious offenders, etc. as well. But I'm just saying...it's a little odd.
