7 Yr Old Boy Crushed to Death by 3 Ton Rock

A boy of 7 years died crushed by a huge rock in the village of Castle, 18km far from the city of Taua. The accident happened around 17:30 pm on Thursday, 16 when the boy in company with 4 other children, was playing on top of each existing in a land where the owner was digging stones to remove the rocks to start building a house, when the accident happened. One of the stones fell and rolled over the boy.

Immediately popular rushed to the scene in an attempt to remove the huge rock, which weighed about 3 tons. It was a moment of agony because the boy was still moving, but moments later he died.

Crew of Civil Police Department , Fire Department and Pro-citizenship were in place and with the help of residents were able to remove the stone and rescue the boy. Only Victim's face was slightly disfigured.

The owner of the land where the accident happened said he was doing excavations at the site several times and asked the boys who were playing on the stones to saÃrem that place and suddenly moved the stone falling over the boy.

He was raised by his grandparents and his mother resides in Marazion. His father died Victim of accident .
