Human remains in these pictures belong to 65 year old Jose Garcia de Araujo. A retired man, Jose Garcia de Araujo was riding down a BR-116 highway (known as Rodovia Santos Dumont)

The accident happened on Wednesday October 19, 2011 at around 6.40 pm in the town of Timbauba dos Marinheiros, not far from Chorozinho in the state of Ceara, Brazil. According to the Federal Highway Patrolman Alisson Mosque, a driver who obliterated Jose Garcia de Araujo was identified as 36 year old Jose Wagner.

According to the witnesses, both speeding and alcohol contributed to the accident. Victim of the accident was drunk having just left the bar and the driver who struck him was speeding through a section of the highway with a speed limit.
