I think the grenade was tossed into the car during an ambush. Look at all of the bullet holes in the back of the vehicle. Also, one passenger was toting an AK. His right hand is still around what's left of the gun.

Someone could photoshop empty marshmallow bags, and little bundles of sugary skewers strewn about into #2. I don't think I've ever heard of an on fire person seeking out tires to lay on top of. Although, maybe to a young burning assassin a pile of tires looks like a Mama Bird to nuzzle. |
