6 Young People Die in a Car Accident
In Santo Domingo on 28th May 2018, 6 young people lost their lives in a traffic accident. The victims are: 20 year old Cristian + his brother, 25 year old Joel Lora Robles. 18 year old Susana de la Cruz Mora + her husband, 24 year old Jhon David Ozuna Also a male + a 13 year old girl, both names unknown.                   |

This breaks my “momma heart”. We know we can’t protect them from it all and that we need to give them some independence. Bless the parents of these young ones. They are living my absolute worst nightmare. These are the things that keep me up at night.

Unfortunate that the fall isn’t even that high, so they all most likely drowned (also given by the slight foams around all of their noses). Anyway, if anyone is wondering what was being said in the interviews: - The responders agree that it was most likely caused by the irresponsible driving of whoever was at the wheel, and since they’re all from out of town (they’re all from a small city namedCotuí which is about 20 miles from Arenoso, where this happened) they must have not known how to drive around the narrow road in the area. - More importantly, the responders are visibly distraught at how there have been several deaths just in recent days (two drowned just a couple of days prior in another accident, possible new post...?) and that they have been pushing for some kind of abarrandilla (road bumper) be placed in that area, specifically near the canal where these unfortunate souls drowned. They claim they’ll take it up to the Ministro de Obras Públicas(which is the equivalent of the Secretary of Transportation in the United States), hopefully someone will listen after this. |

damn.. sux to be them. Horrible way to go .. locked in a car with 5 other screaming imbeciles who can't open the door and get out. BTW there is a big chance the windows where all down so everyone has to listen to their loud music wherever they pass.. so car filled with dirty muddy water super fast... |
