Yesterday morning (13th July 2018) at around 5am in Palmácia, the bodies of 5 men, all farmers, were found in a thicket.

The men had their hands tied behind their backs + gunshot wounds to their heads. A 6th person, Augustus, managed to escape.

Francisco + his 2 sons, Freitas + Vanderlei are 3 of the victims. The other 2 victims are Antônio Pequeno + Roniele.

Augusto had previously been responsible for robbery, rape + murder. He had recently escaped from jail + he was the main target of the killers.

4 of the 5 deceased men are suspected of involvement in a murder in 2004.

3 suspects have been arrested for the slaughter of the 5 men. Francisca Maria Pereira Sales, 34 year old Antonio Evandilson Azevedo Fernandes + 30 year old Wagli Edmar da Silva Viana have confessed.

Thanks matey. I was rather annoyed that I couldn't find anything else. I scoured the 'net for a few hours but this is all I could come up with.

I think you've done great, most i could find was one or two blurred pics.

They also used scythes to kill them. Pretty brutal to kill everyone when they were trying to locate and kill one. They call it Queima de arquivo meaning leaving no witnesses that can point the police to the killers.
