A police chase resulted in the death of five young men who lived in two neighborhoods of the city.

They were 30, 19, 19, 22 and 21 years-old.

According to officials from the Military Police the young men were exchanging gunfire from a car in a neighborhood when they encountered a police vehicle.

The chase went through some neighborhoods of the city when the driver ran over a woman, lost control of the car and hit the columns holding up a bridge in the neighborhood.

The five men were killed immediately.
One was thrown out of the vehicle and body organs were exposed due to the strong impact.

The woman was taken to the hospital.
According to the police her condition is serious but not at risk of dying.

In a few moments many curious approached the crash site.

Officers found 3 guns inside of the crashed vehicle.
