Roughly translated from Swedish, but you get the picture. Also, this is my first post so go easy on me
Skeleton was a 400 year old war victim
The skeleton found in Kalmarsundsparken (the Kalmarsund park) in Kalmar, Sweden a couple of weeks ago is, according to archeologists, an approximately 20-25 year old man with bad teeth from Skåne, Sweden. He was killed with a blow to the head during the Swedish-Danish Kalmar war in the beginning of the 1600s, P4 Kalmar reports. That is revealed in the archeologists' report that was finished on Monday (24/6).
”Now we know a little more about the Kalmar war which is otherwise unexplored, archaeologically speaking”, says archeologist Stefan Larsson from Lund, who has analyzed the skeleton.
The skeleton was found in conjunction with the construction of a jetty. The main part of the war played out in the Kalmar area.
Now that's gonna be a heavy headache when he wakes up
