how can you tell that? Ive traveled the world and Thailand was the one place where people had the everything they need in life and they were the happiest people i had ever met, sorry i just don't understand what makes you think from these couple of pics with no story you can tell his life wasn't worth living?

I live in the philippines. and i based what i commented about the subject on the impression that the settings theyre in seems to suggest they are sleeping in the ditch. with the blanket under them as it looks. and the plastic box that looks like it contains their belongings. sleeping on the field or ditch are poor by any standards. even if its just their choice of picnic spot.

Happiness is just a state of mind. it depends on your own acceptance of things and life. A pig can be happy in the mud and some bits of spoiled corncobs because its all it wants to be happy.
A king will never be happy because they keep wanting things they dont have yet. Happiness starts when you get content with what you have and dont ask for more than you can afford.
