4 Young People Murdered
At 11.45pm on 11th April 2014, in Vertentes, 4 young people were murdered. The group were enjoying a drink when 4 men entered the house + fired at them. The murdered are: Douglas Timóteo Truta aged 17 Josinaldo Silva de Oliveira aged 28 Marciênio Aguiar Martins aged 27 Vivian Honório Lima da Silva aged 14 Apparently Douglas + Marciênio both had been involved in several crimes such as armed robbery + homicide. Vivian was the girlfriend of Douglas + they both lived together in the house with her mother. Vivian was killed while lying on a settee + Josinaldo was killed on the floor nearby. Douglas was shot, he ran into one of the rooms, the men followed + finished him off. Maciênio tried to escape through the front door but he too was killed. Apparently Marciênio, Vivian + Josinaldo were only murdered as they were in the company of Douglas who was killed because of drug trafficking/revenge. 4 men were arrested on 10th November 2015 for the crime: Diêgo Henrique Frutuoso aged 26 Fernando Luiz da Silva Filho Jamerson Gabriel Genuíno de Oliveira José Rafael Almeida dos Santos Apparently there were 8 people inside the house that night. 2 of them had left moments before the crime, Vivian's mother hid behind the refrigerator + a child hid under a bed. His [Douglas's] past caught up with him after he crossed the wrong people...the others wrong company,wrong place,wrong time.

What I don’t understand is how a mother could hide behind a refrigerator while hearing gunmen executing her own progeny. One would think that a mother would put her daughter’s safety before her own, even if it ends in tragedy for both of them (which is what I would have expected anyway).

Didn't come across this when I searched, thanks for the link. My thread has more photos though (annoying watermarks on some though, couldn't find those ones without). Also my information is more detailed + has the culprits.

The other hidden child was probably her other son/daughter. She had to think of both of them and probably froze while making an awful decision (a pretty human reaction if you ask me).  |
