At the end of last night, Wednesday, July 17, 2019, around 11:00 p.m., rescue workers from Siate de Foz do Iguaçu were called to the Jasmim street alley in Parque Remador to provide care for a gunshot victim.

At the scene, a staff of the Military Police was in attendance, where the first responders confirmed that the victim was already dead, isolating the place until the arrival of the Civil Police (Homicide Police), Police Science (Crime) and the Medical Legal Institute .

With the arrival of the criminal expert, the place of death was investigated, being verified that the victim identified as MAS, 25 years old, had 8 (eight) perforations by firearm, four (4) perforations in the neck, 1 (one) perforation in the thorax and 3 (three) perforations in the skull.

The corpse was collected and sent to the IML morgue for autopsy examination and release for funeral procedures.

According to locals, two people were seen running seconds after the shots.
