~4 Homicides & One Attempted Murder Were Recorded In Sao Luis In One Day~
 At the end of the morning of this Sunday (25), four homicides and one attempted murder were recorded in São Luís. The crimes were committed in the Cidade Olímpica and Estiva neighborhoods, with all victims hit by firearms.The first recorded homicide was that of Elenilson Garcez do Vale, 33, who was shot dead in the Cidade Olímpica neighborhood. According to information from the Maranhão Military Police (PM-MA), the crime took place on Rua 18, close to a club, around 5 am. The victim was shot in the head and could not resist the injuries, going to death at the scene. Elenilson Garcez lived in Vila Nestor, in the Cidade Olímpica region, and had no experience with the police. There is still no information on the motivation and authorship of the crime. The case is being investigated by the Homicide and Personal Protection Superintendence (SHHP).  ·  ·  ·  · |
