Except you're wrong.

#1. I am not 'stealing from competitors.' I have not posted an image that I leeched from another 'gore' website in over five years now. I find these images myself. I do the work. I do the foreign-language searches. I call the photographers long distance in other countries. In many cases I pay for subscriptions to the newspapers or magazines that these images are published in. If you want to snag images from other gore sites, that is your prerogative. But I don't do it, so speak only for yourself.

#2. I have posted for many years without watermarking the images I find. I do not own the images in most cases, so I never felt compelled to include a DR watermark on them. Lately, however, certain 'competitors' from other gore sites have not only been using the images I find (which I have never complained about), but also stealing MY words. The words and reports that I write for THIS website only. They are stealing MY words and posting them on their own sites and taking the credit for them. When I complained about them doing this, instead of reprimanding them, the owner of the other site banned me instead.

Until I am able to get them to cease this reprehensible stealing and plagiarizing of my work, I have no choice but to watermark the images that I find to act as a further deterrent to the theft of my time and my reports. Perhaps when certain assholes at certain shitty, cheap-ass, knockoff websites stop stealing narratives and reports and claiming them for their own, then I will no longer feel the need to watermark the images that accompany them. But until that time, at least people who read the stories with the watermarked images will know where they were stolen from.

Vedderman, you shouldn't have to rationalize to us why you are doing what you are doing. Most with common sense can see that you work hard to produce good stories/posts. Any one who would steal your words & work product likely do not have their own ability to form comprehensive words & thoughts.
