In the early hours of last Friday, 13th of March three assailants died in an accident in the GO-010, in Goiania. According to the military police, they stole about R$ 600 from a petrol station in Leopoldo City Bouillon (62 km from Goiânia) and then fled, driving on the main highway. A road block was set by the Military Police, but the suspects managed to escape. They followed the highway and agents continued to accompany them to mount the police siege. By accessing the urban area of ​​Goiânia, the driver of the vehicle lost control of the direction and crashed head-on into a tree. Two of them died on the spot. The third crook was in serious condition and was taken to the Emergency Hospital of Goiânia, but succumbed to his injuries and died as well.
The bodies of the victims were sent to the Medical Legal Institute (IML).
