It infact does - doesn't help much to the aesthetics of the scene though.

when i was in mexico i noticed that a majority of the low end bars and restaurants got those plastic chairs from the beer distributors... seems like a promo for the beer company. some places also only sold one type of beer

Each day is a day to learn something new - I have seen sponsored coffeecups, glasses, ashtrays and sunshades, but never chairs.

I'm sure, it's a good idea. Could allways have an extra beer or two, if seated comfortably.
