A few details to add. Looks like an ex-husband was to blame. Apparently, rather than a drive-by, he actually got OUT of the truck and started shooting while her friends scattered. According to his confession (and the video, which is pretty grainy) she wasn't actually hit by any of the initial shots. She tried to run off and hide, but fell down. He closed on her, stood over her and shot several times, then got back into the truck and drove off. |

I was just noticing that. Looks like she took one through the leg also. I got shot through the outer thigh on my right leg and it also didn't bleed much. I waited for hours on a cot at the hospital before being treated with no aid and only a small dribble of blood. Only thing strange was a huge clump of ground up meat squirted out when I stood up right after the shooting. .44 magnum hollow point from a Ruger Blackhawk revolver.
