22-Year-Old Woman Killed as Guardrail Pierced Head in Changzhou, March 26, 2022
A 22-year-old woman died when a metal median guardrail pierced her head during a car crash in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, at about 6 a.m. on March 26, 2022. The crash occurred at the intersection of Wuyi Road and Hongbei Road in Wujin District. The white sedan was traveling north on a rain-wet road when the driver lost control and struck the central dividing guardrail. A section of railing tore open and entered the rear passenger compartment, striking Ms. Wang as she sat in the back seat. She died at the scene. The 21-year-old driver, identified only as Mr. Liu, and another passenger were uninjured. Changzhou traffic police said a blood test ruled out drink-driving. The cause of the crash remained under investigation.  ·  ·  · |

On the bright side at least it was painless… No open casket funeral for the family though. |
