On May 25, 2019, 22-year-old S.A.M.L.P. was murdered and stuffed by A.M. at a storage room in Barangay Cupang, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, Philippines. Obsession is the motive for her murder. A.M. was arrested the next day after being tipped by his own father.

Video transcription of a news report, which was aired on May 25, 2019:

Connie Sison (anchor): A woman was found dead, stuffed, and hidden inside the storage room in Muntinlupa.
Raffy Tima (anchor): The suspect is said to her date. A hot news report from Vonne Aquino.
Vonne Aquino (reporter): Her friend 22-year-old S.A.M.P. as a good friend and a lovely breadwinner of her family in her own province, who worked as an assistant supervisor at a supermarket. Her friend, G. (not her real name), they were living together at a rented apartment in Barangay Cupang, Muntinlupa City. Yesterday morning, she went missing. When G. cleaned her apartment, she noticed blood stains on S.'s pillows and bed sheet.
G. (victim's friend): When I touched it, it's wet. When I looked down, there was a lot of blood, where my clothes were there. I didn't dispose them. I ran into my neighbors. I presented them S.'s bloody bedding.
Vonne Aquino (reporter): Her helper, A.M., who was accessed to their apartment, acted suspiciously. He suddenly washed S.'s bedding in a washing machine.
G. (victim's friend): I was surprised that the said guy (suspect) sprayed bloodied clothes with hose. I didn't order him to clean.
Vonne Aquino (reporter): A.M. looked worried, and he has scratches.
G. (victim's friend): He said, "Why did you call the police? It's been less than 24 hours since she went missing. She may be somewhere out there, and she might go back home."
Vonne Aquino (reporter): So, what parts of his body has scratches?
G. (victim's friend): Around his neck. I'm not sure on either side, but near his lips. And then, he has another scratch. That's all. S. has long fingernails.
Vonne Aquino (reporter): A.M.'s father talked to G. to try to go to his son's storage room.
G. (victim's friend): His father gave me a tip to try to go [to the storage room].
Vonne Aquino (reporter): When G. entered the second floor of the storage room, she found a sack where the S.'s dead body was stuffed. Because of that, the authorities considered A.M. as a suspect.
Maj. Elmer Gutierrez (Commander, Alabang PCP): Based on our initial investigation, the guy was obsessed at our victim because according to our witness he is too flirty at the victim. However, he was not given attention because the victim had a boyfriend.
G. (victim's friend): I asked A.M. whether you like her, he said I have but as a fan.
Vonne Aquino (reporter): Based on the investigation by police, S. sustained a cut on her abdomen, and wound on her head. One of her fingers was amputated as well. They became more suspicious at A.M. because of a CCTV footage that shows him pulling a sack on Saturday early morning.
G. (victim's friend): When I watched that CCTV, that's him.
Vonne Aquino (reporter): A.M. is being hunted, who went missing on the same day when the victim's dead body was found. He will face murder charge. Vonne Aquino, GMA News.
