(2016) Venezuelan Criminal Found Decapitated Just Days After Escaping Prison
On April 13th 2016, eleven criminals escaped through a hole in the bathroom at a prison in Zulia state, Venezuela. Among the escapees was 28-year-old José Gregorio Pacheco Ríos, who had a criminal record for homicide, robbery, and extortion. His joy didn't last long. In the early hours of the 17th, locals of San Francisco Municipality - an area of Venezuela's second-largest city, Maracaibo - reported hearing some motorcycles and some gunshots. An investigation found that José had been beheaded, with his head dumped in a garbage bag and tied to a house gate. His body was found besides a dirt path in a nearby neighbourhood.               |

Such a good looking young man. So sad his life was cut short. He never had a chance to age gracefully, help others and become a pillar of his community. For sure he will become a martyr.  |
