2012 Rakhine State Violence, Myanmar (Images Said to Show Rohingya Massacre)
The material was presented as depicting communal unrest between ethnic Rakhine Buddhists and Rohingya Muslims in Rakhine State, western Myanmar, during 2012. The first wave, in June 2012, involved riots that officially left 88 dead, including 57 Muslims and 31 Buddhists, displaced about 90,000 people and led to a state of emergency. A further wave in late October 2012 spread through a dozen townships, killing more than 80 people, destroying over 4,600 homes and forcing tens of thousands more, nearly all Muslims, from their homes. Human Rights Watch described the October violence as a coordinated ethnic-cleansing campaign amounting to crimes against humanity, which drove more than 125,000 Rohingya and other Muslims from their homes. The precise origin was never verified, and material identified as showing Rohingya massacres has often depicted unrelated incidents, so this attribution remains an unverified claim. |

I don't know why but my first thought was that that is what Americans would be subjected to if the Middle Eastern countries were able to gain access to our shores.
