2 People in Motorcycle Crashed and Fall from Bridge, Lands in Train Tracks
Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines: Around 6:50pm local time on Sunday, 12 June 2022, a motorcycle accident occurred on the Aurora Blvd. Flyover spanning EDSA, the Metro's busiest avenue, and the MRT-3 rail line. Apparently they were going too fast, crashed and the 2 occupants went over the ledge and fell onto a busy rail tracks, where they died instantly. The incident caused nearly an hour's delay on rail services full of Sunday passengers and slowdowns on vehicle movement along EDSA as emergency crews responded to the scene to remove the bodies and resume train service. |

This is not the first time an incident like this happened, 10 years ago, a drunken motorcycle rider went over in similar fashion, however he survived this one. Maybe its time to install safety barriers on the bridge to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.
