In the early morning of Saturday, August 9, 2014, at around 07h: 30min, military police were deployed to move to the bank of the Paraná River, near the “Favela Cheese” area south of Foz do Iguaçu, because according information would be a corpse thrown the riverbanks, victim of shooting firearm.
On site was initially located a corpse and soon found a second body thrown a few meters from the riverbank. Immediately tripped the fire department to retrieve the bodies of water, and also triggered the Homicide Division, Scientific Police and the Forensic Institute.
With the arrival of the coroner, in the vicinity of where the bodies were found, had triggered several cases of 12-gauge shotgun, trail of blood, indicating that bodies are dragged over the stones and had exposition of brain mass (celebrate) the one of the victims.
The bodies were removed from the water and found that both had piercings firing firearm caliber, possibly indicating that the weapon used would be a 12 gauge shotgun.
The bodies had no identification, however the policemen the Homicide walked the trail to access the “Favela Cheese” and pinpointed played an identity on behalf of Daniel Constantine Sotto, 16, being compared with the identity of the bodies which showed great similarity.
