A young man, 19-year old resident of Plateau, was executed by six gun shots while working on a construction project in Alameda Cajueiros neighborhood.

According to information from police, the young man was in Pahia with a brother, when two individuals arrived in a car and announced a robbery. Six shots were fired in the victim and he died instantly. The young man's brother managed to run and escape death without being hit by shots. The body was removed to the seat of the ITEP which will released the body for burial.

This is the last place I would expect a robbery.
Workers usually have sandwiches in their pocket and no money

So sad. It makes me remember what the bumble fuck-all I was doing as a 19-year old. Sure, a lot of great stuff happened that year, stuff like getting laid for the first time, winning both football and track & field championships, and graduating from high school. But I was still essentially a kid with some ability and very little responsibility.

I've accomplished a lot in the intervening years, but makes me sad to think this guy will never get the same chance I did.
