18 Year Old Girl Killed by Her Ex-boyfriend
On the morning of 20th October 2018 in Ibiapina, the body of 18 year old L.C.I.D.O. was found in a thicket, she had been missing for a day. 'L's 17 year old ex-boyfriend has been arrested for the murder. When 'L' went missing, searches were set up to try + find her. The boy had gone on the searches + told the police that 'L' had spoken about suicide. Eventually, he ended up confessing to murdering her on the morning of the 19th. The boy had called 'L' to come to his house, once she was there, he strangled her to death + then hid her body in a thicket.

I'm pretty sure that the first 2 photos are after she was uncovered. In the last photo, it looks like all you see is her head.

It seems that 90% of the cases presented here have awfully quick and convenient confessions from suspects. Now, obviously, that is largely down to the "interrogation techniques" used by police in poorer countries. But I do wonder sometimes how many of the confessions obtained under duress are false ones. I'm not at all implying that's the case here, merely that the police have a desire to wrap things up as promptly and tidily as possible, and I'd guess recanting a confession means fuck-all in Brazil.

I think that if they are actually guilty + confess quickly then it may be down to knowing that if the public get hold of them, they will be lynched.
