16-Year-Old Hello Kitty Fan Shot to Death in an Ambush
It happened on April 17, 2017 in Obando, Bulacan, Philippines. She was initially unidentified. But when she was identified, her family was too poor to pull her out of morgue. Luckily, a good Samaritan answered all the expenses up to her burial. Her wake was held in a Hello Kitty style. She was laid to rest on April 30, 2017. P.S. The last photo was taken by a Danish journalist. |

I'm a little confused...if she died on the street wearing flip-flops, why is she wearing Hello Kitty socks when she's lying in the morgue? You sure those pics are from the same set?

I have no idea what in Sam Hell is "Hello Kitty", but then I doubt if I would care if I did. In any event, goodbye Kitty.

It is the same. Look at the socks photo and notice that the leg that rested on top of the other in her death photo, there's a crease mark on the leg that rested on top of the flip flopped leg under and was probably put ok by the parents of the deceased when called to Id her body

To what possible end? You get called in to identify your daughter's murdered corpse and all you can think to do is put socks on her? And they just happened to have a pair of bright pink Hello Kitty socks tucked in their pocket for such emergencies? "Honey, the police just called. Our daughter has been murdered. We need to get down to the hospital immediately." "Don't forget the extra socks!" I understand people do weird shit when shocked or grieving. If she were at the funeral home or had been remanded to their custody to prepare for burial or whatever, I might buy it. But she's clearly lying right there on the steel morgue tray, soon to be autopsied. I'm not saying it definitively isn't her and I do see the vague indentation you referenced, but I am still saying that those fucking socks make zero sense. |

Not everything within the wide range of available human experiences have to make sense to your definitions of logic and reasoning. Sometimes people do things based on sheer force of will or emotions. I don't have any definitive answers and always trying to find logistics behind everything isn't a surefire way to get definitive answers.

Well, she (16yo) may not have even been into hello kitty anymore... Her mother might be trying to cling to better times, to remember her daughter by. She might have grabbed the socks immediately upon being told about her daughter, something of her daughters to hold, to smell (not in a bad way cause they are socks) as a reminder of her daughter. Like a blankie, she might have been carrying them with her to the morgue. Or, as you point out her mother might have always been just bat-schnit-crazy. |
