16 Year Old Girl Found Dead in a Plastic Sack After Going Missing
16 year old Bruna Santana Mendes went missing at 3.30pm on 18th February 2018, after leaving a shopping mall. She was found dead in a plastic sack, 3 days later, in Feira de Santana. Bruna was buried around noon on Thursday 22nd February, in Serra Preta. Death was by suffocation. Found gagged, in just knickers + trainers, possibly sexually assaulted + possibly pregnant. 2 suspects were arrested on the night of 23rd February. They were detained for 30 days + denied the crime. A search of both the homes of the boys was done + sacks similar used at the crime were found. The suspects: Deividson Jorge dos Santos aged 18 Eric Pereira Maciel aged 20 24 year old Everton Rosa de Oliveira is the third suspect in the murder. According to the investigations, CCTV shows a vehicle, similar to the one belonging to Everton, in the neighborhood where the victim's relatives reside and in the vicinity of the body where the body was found. Everton claimed his innocence + that he didn't know Bruna. Police state that they saw his car pass a camera at 1.45am on the day of the murder, but he claims that he was at home + has never seen Bruna, neither dead or alive. Everton claims that on the day Bruna disappeared, he + the other 2 suspects were together smoking marijuana. The investigations are still ongoing.
