A 15 year old girl was caught between two fires, she was talking with her boyfriend and his friends when started a shootout with a rival gang, she was shot in her face and died when she was taken to the hospital. Disputes between drug gangs was the casus shooting.  · |

14 year old teenager was shot during crossfire between drug dealers in Manaus The student Iasmim, 14, died on the night of Thursday (30), after being hit in the chest by a stray bullet. The family suspects that she was shot during crossfire between drug dealers. According to her cousin, a student, 19, the young man had gone to the site to watch a fireworks display.  Besides the teenager, two other men, both 19 were identified by the Military Police (PM) as the targets of gunfire, were injured. They were rescued and taken to the Emergency Room. Military officers working in the unit, reported that the criminals tried to storm the hospital to kill the two men, but then fled. This morning, the teen's stepfather, a carpenter, 48, said the young man had left home with a 10 year old around 20.30. According to him thirty minutes later, friends went to the house where she lived to tell the family that Iasmim had been shot. The girl was in Roundabout watching the fireworks when the shooting started. She was close to one target and ended up being hit in the chest. She tried to run, ran in the wrong way, unfortunately, said the stepfather. The student and the two involved were taken to hospital, but she did not resist and died soon after. Daniel and Mizael were arrested by officers of the 13th Company Community Interactive (IDPF), still in the drive, and taken to the 6th District Integrated Police (DIP) to provide testimony.  |
