15 Year Old Shot Dead by Police

Last Sunday morning, three thugs in a black Prisma vehicle attempted to assault a military police officer in the Serra Verde Site, on the border of Caruaru with Riacho das Almas, in an area belonging to Riacho. They tried to surprise the PM when he stopped his red Strada pickup in front of a small farm, one of the fringes identified by André da Silva Gomes, 15, who lived in the neighborhood of Nova Morada in Cupira, got out of the vehicle, but the policeman saw the bandit with a weapon in hand reacted, there was exchange of shots and the meliante was struck and died in the place and the two comparsas fled in Prisma. Two of the shots fired by the fringes hit the MP's car that miraculously escaped death.

300 meters from the incident, the other two assailants came across a door with a lock and left the stolen car ,plate EQV-6751.

They both fled past the enclosure, where one would eventually rob a couple of a motorcycle. One is believed to have also been hit by gunshots.

On the deceased was two cell phones, plus a .38 revolver loaded with six more ammunition in his pockets and the amount of $ 20.
