14 Year Old Stabbed 22 Times
The Civil Police (PC) of Canavieiras through Dr. Renato Fernandes, seized this afternoon (10), a 17-year-old teenager, suspected of involvement in the death of a child under 14 years. The body of the victim was found in a locality known as Joalca, behind the wall of a dairy factory that borders the old and deactivated supply center located in the central region of the city. The minor was killed during the night, after being stabbed 22 times near where he lived. The PC reached the suspect after witnesses said the youth and a third person were seen together until about 1:30 in the morning. So far the third person has not been located. According to the CP, the seized teenager had a blunt instrument injury in one hand, but denied participation in the crime that may have been motivated by a disagreement related to drug trafficking. The apprehended suspect is the disposition of justice. The body, located on Tuesday morning, was removed for investigation by the Technical Police Department (DPT), in Ilhéus. double click photos for larger image    |
