Re: 10 Yr Old Boy Killed by Looney Driver
How do you know that? Sad for whom? Maybe his parents will collect big bucks from the accident and make a new kid. The boy is sitting on Jesus's lap, all good. Everyone dies, so why is it bad? |

Re: 10 Yr Old Boy Killed by Looney Driver
I would have to have been present at, or done the autopsy myself to be sure but, it looks like he may have been asphyxiated instead of killed instantly. I have had patients that have been pinned against walls by vehicles and, were fully alive and stable. So long as they remained pinned. In those cases, we called their families to come say goodbye before we moved the vehicle. Still, we put as many large bore IVs into them to try to keep their fluid volume up before moving the vehicle, as a last ditch effort to save them, but in my experience, it's never worked. We move the vehicle and they bleed out in seconds. That all being said, the boy likely wasn't killed on impact, otherwise I'd see signs of blood pooling, instead of the bluish tint of his skin on his face and in his lips. Certainly didn't live long, but long enough he was probably well aware of the fact that he was dying. Bad way to go.

Only about 35,000 people died in your county last year from car accidents. It is the leading cause of death in your country for nearly every age group of kids. It is a method of population control.

Re: 10 Yr Old Boy Killed by Looney Driver
I lived in the Phils for most of the last 25 years, and the only Filipino I know who had actually taken lessons and then talked a proper driving test was my wife! Everybody else, and even transport drivers, trikes, Jeepneys etc, told me they had simply paid 500 or 1000 pesos and bought their license. |
