My mum caught a seagull at a park when I was a kid. We were feeding them and letting them come right up to us and take the chips from out hands, then she just grabbed one! I've never seen so many seagulls take off at once... and I've never seen a park where a family's having lunch so deserted of seagulls in the hours after that. She let us pat it, too.
