The Paris terror attacks, a series of coordinated terrorist assaults that took place on November 13, 2015, represent one of the most harrowing incidents of violence in Europe in recent history. Claimed by the Islamic State group, these attacks led to the tragic loss of 130 lives and left over 350 people injured, deeply shocking France and the world.

The attacks unfolded on a Friday evening in several locations across the city.
