I had a stone in a packet of Rowntrees Jelly Tots (I love them!!) and I only got refunded the cost of the sweets too plus a fair letter of apology. Seems that's the going rate if no injury or illness was caused. I was satisfied in my case  I also had an insect larvae in my chocolate coated apple from Asda and got refunded the cost of that too as no ingestion, injury or illness occurred. |

Found a weird bug in my box of noodles one time.. Threw it out.. stuff happens at least once in a lifetime. What did she expect a $1,000 check? Lol.
