Kraft Sends Woman Apology & $1 for Worm in Macaroni
If you thought Kraft dinners couldn't get any less edible, note the case of Nalini Marquez, who says she found a worm in her box of mac and cheese last week. According to Marquez, her teen daughter was pouring a box of the noodles into a pot of water when she spotted a worm floating in the liquid and screamed. When Marquez called Kraft Canada to complain, the company sent her a letter and reimbursement for the cost of the noodles, a check for $1. Marquez said she felt like the company was laughing at her. However, a Kraft spokeswoman noted the company can't track what happens after boxes leave the warehouse and the compensation policy is to reimburse customers for the product. |

smh @ this sue-sciety.. she got her money back, her best bet is to just boycott the company. as far as i know, finding worms/maggots in boxed noodles is not unheard of. it happens.

Re: Kraft Sends Woman Apology & $1 for Worm in Macaroni
I had a small rock in a can of soup once..... I bit into it but luckily it didn't break my tooth. I took a pic, sent it to the company and all they did was send me a coupon for a free can..... Cocksuckers. |
