My Cousins Motorcycle Crash
Some lady pulls out in front of him and causes a wreck. Luckily some guy was filming a documentary about something and caught it on tape. He's ok other than a broken leg.

Your cousin had time to slow or even stop. He didn't scrub off any speed before impact. Part of the blame for the intensity of impact was his own.

na dude it was a 2 lane road. he assumed the lady was making a right and turning into the right lane while he was still moving at regular speed in the left lane. As soon as she decides she wants to u-turn and starts moving in his lane he brakes. look at the smoke coming from the tires before impact.

Damn he was lucky. Force of the impact appeared to be mostly to the riders legs. Bike however looks like it was totalled? Never settle with the first offer insurances give you.

THAT is why I don't ride anymore. 10% of wrecks come from riders doing stupid shit, but 90% are like your poor cousin here and some moron not paying attention. I damn near lost my left leg when an idiot in a minivan pulled out in front of me and stopped at a yellow light. I'm glad he only suffered a broken leg!
