i heard somewrhere that when exicutin ppl if there is for example 5 targets then then there will be 10 shooters but only 5 will have bullets and 5 will have blanks so you never know who actually has the live rounds? dont know if thats true tho

I have heard the idea of using blanks in some rifles in a firing squad all my life.

Maybe it's true. I don't know.

But, if you were given a blank, you would definitely know it.

And, if you were given a live round, you would definitely know it.

A blank has ZERO recoil when fired.

A live round has substantial recoil.

There is a vast difference between the two and it is unmistakeable.
