lower left is one of the wheels... looks like he was clotheslined by the back bumper and his head dropped where he hit, his body kept going on the same vector. Look at that red mess in the intersection, that's the rest of him, methinks.

Yeah his head definetly came off as did a few other bits of his body I think. He had loads of time to see that turning it seems.
