Agreed. Try being that child having to live with that the rest of his/her life. Horrifying. I'll always maintain we should be nurtured and nothing more. If some of us end up Dahmer, fine, that's in us. But seriously, don't make monsters because you beat the shit out of us and make us hate the world because of it. We're all products of our environment. Strong statement, take it to heart.

If kids were disciplined better here in America, we wouldn't have so many 15 year old wanna-be gangsters beating up teachers or parents. I'm not saying beat the shit out of a kid but let's face it...the bullshit "have a time-out in a corner" routine is crap. Kids need to have respect for everyone. I got my ass smacked as a kid and I don't consider it abuse, nor did I turn out to be a child abuser.

The only thing that teachs a child is that its OK for them to smack someone smaller than themselves. Its a criminal offence to hit anybody, so why should kids be exempt? The real problem is parents who don't give a fuck, don't even try and take no responsibility for their childs actions. Most of those 15 YO gangsters don't have a dad that takes them fishing, or mommy cooking them supper every night. And they never did, and by the time their 15th its too late. |

Actually, Wicca is the fastest growing religion, in the US at least. Even so, that doesn't mean all Muslims do this.
