Yeah, the more I look at it the less I think it's ACL.. maybe a quad injury or a preventative surgery, looking at the incision on the shin, they may be using the ligaments to hold the patella in place, or perhaps to prevent the knee from locking/dislocating.

Lol there's no way that's AC surgery.. unless you're living in the 1800's or something. I tore my anterior cruciate playing footy, and i paid for keyhole surgery to fix it.. three li'l scars around my kneecap that i'd be now struggling to point out they're so small and faded so. I dunno what's going on in that pic, if it's knee reconstruction then it's with some dodgy backwater third-world shonky doctor. =)
