Manila Massacre 1945

The pics show children and babies, murdered (shot and bayoneted) by Japanese soldiers during WWII.

For example:
On 10 February 1945, a squad of Japanese soldiers entered the Red Cross Building and proceeded to shoot and bayonet everyone in the building, including staff doctors, patients and young babies, nurses, and refugees. Nurses pleaded for the lives of mothers with new-born infants, but all were bayoneted or shot. Then the attackers ransacked the building for food and supplies.

Here's the link to a very comprehensive website on this war crime.

Re: Manila Massacre 1945

Correct.

The Battle of Manila from 3 February to 3 March 1945, fought by American, Filipino and Japanese forces, was part of the Philippines' 1945 campaign. The one-month battle, which culminated in a terrible bloodbath and total devastation of the city, was the scene of the worst urban fighting in the Pacific theater, and ended almost three years of Japanese military occupation in the Philippines (1942–1945). The city's capture was marked as General Douglas MacArthur's key to victory in the campaign of reconquest.

Re: Manila Massacre 1945

my grandfather was in the philippines during this time. he had a photo of some filipino natives with machetes proudly displaying a japanese head. the pacific islanders suffered horribly at the hands of the japanese, so when the opportunity presented itself, they were more than happy to hand the japanese some old-school tribal ass-whoopin'.
