Here's my guess: the two guys were in the car which accidentally hit a purse snatcher who tried to run across the street. That also accounts for the passenger side door being open. We could give this pic to an elementary school class to write stories to.

"The beginnings of color photography"? LOL Errr, no. More like the late 1970s to early 1980s. I have color slides taken by my grandparents from the 1950s. (Sorry, none of them have any gore.  )

I think I'd rather have a boulder land on me while my cock was in a chicken than be caught dead with a purse.
