Right, I did comply and do what he said. You tell me what kind of soft drink I was, I was using a payphone, he didn't know I had a 'pocket knife on me'... neither was I doing anything wrong. I was using a payphone and I'm from another city. That gives him to the right to run up on me and search me and throw me in the back of his cruiser and illegally search my car?  |

i come from south africa...a country where when you see a cop approaching you you get money ready to bribe them.... they regularly set up road blocks where 50 police will pull cars over to the side and then inpect every detail of the car looking for some reason to force you to offer them a bribe to avoid having to pay a huge fine or go to court.... murderers and rapists and pedophiles are arrested and then their dossiers are 'lost' and so they can't be charged... people are beaten and bullied (same as we see in so many videos here on this site) and harrassed for minor offences when SA has one of the highest murder rates and probably the highest rape rate in the world..... i just flew nto ukraine and within 10 minutes of walking out of the airport a cop was already trying to get me to pay money to avoid being hassled...it cost me money to get my passport back..... so fuck them..... in pretty much every country i've been to they are the same..... a gang of overbearing corrupt pricks on a power trip....european cops are a little better...but europeans are generally better people on a whole anyway |

Now here's an example why I have respect for some and don't 'hate' every cop and my so called 'agenda' gets put aside. One day I was with an ex girlfriend of mine in my city. I was driving up to a light and it turned yellow to red. I passed the redlight after the last second(yeah I was an idiot). I happen to see a cruiser on my left, in incoming traffic. He hits his lights and turns around. I already knew I was getting pulled over. He catches up to me and comes up to my car. I had a bloody nose so I had wiped some on my shirt before to stop the bleeding, so I told him that I was rushing to get home to clean up. I've had sinus problems since I was young and always got bloody noses. (in a playful manner)He asked if my girlfriend had hit me and I said no(laughing). I told him his parents grew up on the same street as mine. He recognized my last name and said just let me check your name to be sure. Came back and said you're all set and have a nice day. |

What the Hell...I think we should just disarm the oppressor police. After all no one here much thinks they're necessary anyway...I say disband all the police and just let folks handle their own issues. No police...no police issues...no bad guys...no good guys...no enforcement authority...no need for laws...no need for prisons/jails. It's a win win all around...think of the money we'll save in criminal justice costs.
