If I recall correctly the one suspect familie sued the LAPD and the county for millions for failure to render medical aid to the one suspect who was shot by the brown truck. He actually surrender after being shot multiple times but the officers on scene refused to allow the paramedics to render aid to the suspect he eventually bleed out and died at the scene. The family won and i believe they got some like $3 million plus dollars. If you watch the clip real close you can see the other suspect actually shots himself in the head killing himself.
The irony...robbing a bank, or what ever it was they robbed, did pay off for his family ..
