Nothing wrong with it as long as the cobra's defanged, mouth taped shut or whatever. I've seen that video before. It's indeed trying to bite the child, but it can't. The child is probably interpreting that as being nudged by the snake, but at the same time it's pointless having your child play with a snake.

Fangs grow back. Sewing the mouth shut is a better option for the long term. However, these folks generally collect the snake, keep it as a pet until festivities are over and then release it back where it was found. In India, the snake is regarded as the God of Fertility and killing a snake is believed to be punished by a bad omen to the family. Anywho...that's a bitchin' looking snake!! |

Not sure if the snake has enough power in it's tail to really strangle her. Even if they did remove the poisonous fangs, they still have rather sharp teeth and can do damage. (Or so I've heard and read) Chances are good that it's mouth is either taped or sewn shut.
