Thats a bit like saying "after my 17th car crash of the day, my training took over - and instead of realising I'm a shit driver - I knew how to bandage myself up and wait for the ambulance." Come on....give the guy a break. I was first critical of his quick move to the trigger with his right index finger but as he explained, the retention release mechanism works with pressure from that finger and he was late pressing the button allowing his finger to enter the trigger guard under pressure as the weapon was coming out of the holster. I too have a department issued holster with that type of release so you can bet I'll be paying a little more attention to my draw in the future. Took some brass ones to produce another video explaining his mistake.
