Lets face reality there. Most cities in America were founded and planned in a way to rely on automobile, whereas most european cities must rely on public transportation since they were not configured to facilitate car traffic and parking. As a result, there is a stronger pedestrian and cyclism culture, generally speaking, in european countries as in North America.

In addition, Americans and Canadians are used to see an excess of calories as a good bargain. You should look how much sugar and salt the same products have in North America compared to european markets. The difference is insane.

I think it's funny that Kuwait is just before the US... Idk bout the other countries, but Kuwaitis don't work. Their country is so wealthy that they pay people from neighboring countries to do their work for them.
