Personally I think that is an over reaction to some sexually orientated txts. he shouldn't have been looking on there anyway. And if that was me, I wouldn't have stayed so calm over that reaction.

I think a sit down and a bit of a talk on the dangers of certain behaviours might have been more constructive. Maybe restriction of some phone/internet access but you want to let them know you still have trust in them to do the right thing. Otherwise you risk them rebelling against you. I once had a friend who was 13 and her mom used to give her condoms because she knew she couldn't stop her from having sex with her boyfriend. If people are horny then they are horny. For some it is sooner, for others later, and for me unfortunately almost never.  |
