One state over from me. Appalling that this kind of fucked-up relentless bullying (and apparently homophobia) still prevails to this date. When I was in high school, there were hopes that we were making progress on acceptance of bisexuality and homophobia. But in some pockets, we haven’t. Fucking Bible Belt. |

Not to be an asshole, and I could be wrong, but when I saw this story it immediately brought me to the mom's facebook page where she shared the picture. For shits I started going through the rest of her pics and it's kind of clear to me his issues went beyond just bullying at school. Her entire facebook is pictures of herself in the same pose. Like 99% of the pics are of herself and duck-facing. And every pic which is usually in front of their house or in the living room of their house has giant Jesus signs and scripture quotes everywhere. So, yeah, he was bullied in the bible belt which is tough, but having that stuff all over his house tells me maybe there was some of that at home, too. |

Schools all over this country are doing walk outs for gun violence and kids being shot to death...moments of silence.....the funny thing is---would any of these kids help a kid that was being bullied at all? half the kids that did these walk outs are probably bullies. where are people taking a stance for these kids?
